ABOUT
US
In
the past times the person who was planning, the artist, hardly
knew anything about the used materials and on the contrary the
one who carried out the project, the craftsman, hardly dealt with
the planning. Many horrible errors were done in such a situation.
They were not visible just
for those people who took an interest in the work of art for the
first time, as they were incapable to criticize, and so are they
nowadays as long as we know. In our laboratory, the one who performs,
creates and the one who creates, performs. Thus we developed a
good skill in projecting USEFUL forms of art, which are suitable
for any furnishing need and reach the best use of the materials.
-
Born in Prato in 1956, Anna Maria Campanili studies in Rome
where she attends the Faculty of Architecture after getting
the Diploma in Classical Studies at the High School Visconti.
She enthusiastically attends the courses of the masters Luigi
Pellegrin and Marcello D'Olivo. In this way, she gets the opportunity
to take part in the competitions for the Lingotto Fiat and for
the Opera in Paris with Luigi Pellegrin, and in the planning
of the Centro Civico in Novi Ligure with Marcello D'Olivo. She
gets a fervent supporter of the organic architecture and decides
to leave to America in search of its main examples. She goes
back to Rome and dedicates herself to the interior design and
founds a laboratory with Cesare Ciurli, where to create furnishing
items of glass and marble.
- Cesare
Ciurli was born in Florence in 1937. In the first postwar years
he is in Rome. As a consequence of his restless and rebellious
spirit he soon gives up with the studies at the Faculty of Arts.
In the 60s, he dedicates himself to the cultural associations.
He attends an art course hold by the sculptor Campitelli. He
actively takes part in the organization of the National Painting
Exhibition and Award, which took place in the Palazzo delle
Esposizioni of Via Milano in honour of Dante Alighieri. Then
he attends a professional training course of artistic glass
windows in the Province of Siena. He understands that glass
is his most natural expressive form and deals entirely with
the experimentation and the study of new forms.
